Lester Boyd MERRYMAN 1932 - 2022

Oct. 17, 1932-Feb. 15, 2022
One of the kindest men you'd ever meet, often known as "the egg man." Lester was born in Fulton, Ky. and at the age of 18, joined the US Airforce. He was married in 1955 and planted his roots in California where he went on to work at Edwards AFB, Plant 42 and LA AFB retiring in 1988, as a civil servant. After enjoying a year of retirement, he became a substitute teacher for the Lancaster School District for over 20 years. He was active in many community organizations and loved to help others.
He is survived by his loving wife Lucy of 67 years, his five children Debra, Lester, Marylyn, Darryl and Virginia. Along with his six grandchildren and numerous family members and friends.
